Surreys roads are slated as third world quality.
Sun 9th Mar 2008
The poor condition of the roads and pavements continues to cause concern to our residents. Recently patched pot-holes have lifted in the recent frost. The highway contractors have been continually criticised for their under performance and overcharging, but nevertheless the Tory Council have recently extended their contracts for a further two years until April 2011.

St Johns Pendleton Road crossing finally started.
Wed 20th Feb 2008
Graham, Steve and Anna are pleased to report that the new crossing at St John's school will be built in March. This forms part of the safe routes to school project and will be of great safety benefit to children needing to cross the busy Pendleton Road for both St John's and Reigate Schools. A very successful conclusion to a Lib Dem campaign that has been going on for more than two years.

Tories still fail to deliver on Earlswood Common pavilion.
Thu 20th Dec 2007
The users of Earlswood Lakes have been promised a replacement Kiosk in the car park by the Tory Council for years. The excuse has always been a lack of funding. Now the story is that although the budget is available, there are no spare Council officers to manage the project. It amounts to gross incompetence by the Tory executive.
