The highest results from the latest analysis of hundreds of our ongoing residents surveys are still, the need for more recycling from home, the need to feel safe and the wish to save Redhill Harlequin. Your local Lib Dem Borough Councillors and Focus team members will continue to work these issues on your behalf.
94% of people recycle.
90% of people want recycling facilities
75% would like to see more community policing.
74% of people feel safe in their neighbourhood.
74% want to save the Harlequin.
70% think education is a priority.
66% see health as a priority.
64% are concerned about the loss of shops.
62% of people are concerned about the environment.
55% people have identified dangerous pot holes.
55% are worried about post office closures.
55% have listed pensions as a high priority.
47% of people believe residential parking is a problem.
43% want to see more facilities for children.
38% people agree with changing Council Tax, 29% disagree, 33% expressed no opinion.
36% of people think public transport is a high priority.
28% of people feel there is a problem with anti-social behaviour.
25% have identified poorly lit areas or damaged lights.
20% of people are concerned about back land development.
21% have noted damaged pavements.
15% of people believe there is a lack of car parks.
