Better than expected results for Reigate Lib Dems.

Another Lib Dem Win

Anna Tarrant has been elected as ward Councillor to represent the residents of Meadvale and St. Johns and join Cllrs. Steve Kulka and Graham Norman. She won the seat with 241 more votes than the next closest candidate. Anna said "I am really pleased to have been elected to serve all the residents of Meadvale & St. Johns".

Meadvale & St. Johns is entirely represented by Lib Dem Councillors.

The changes for full Council seats are:

Liberal Democrats +1

Conservatives -2

Others +1

National share of the vote (Source - BBC)

Liberal Democrat 25%

Labour 24%

Liberal Democrats pushed Labour into 3rd place.

In their Earlswood leaflet the Tories lied about the attendance of their Councillors at Council meetings. They also had to apologise about inaccuracies in their leaflet.
