In these difficult economic times, it's important that you get the best value from the money you spend. It's especially important when you are relying on someone else to spend your money for you.
To help you get better value for your Council Tax, the Council have agreed with my proposal to be more energy efficient, to use less energy and account for what they've used, by joining and committing to the terms of the 10:10 campaign.
Amongst other things, it requires the Council to reduce their fossil fuel consumption which should also result in a lower Carbon footprint. They will therefore be investigating ways of using energy more efficiently and sourcing more energy from renewable green energy.
They will then be reporting the energy costs on the Council website, so everyone can see the bills reducing and how much less of your money is being wasted.
