Reigate Liberal Democrats have chosen local campaigner Jane Kulka once again as their Prospective Parliamentary Candidate. At a meeting of party members on Saturday afternoon she was elected with over 90% of the vote.

Jane Kulka polled 8,330 votes in Reigate at the last General Election.

She is an experienced campaigner and a former local Councillor.

Commenting on her selection Jane Kulka said, "In 2001 the Liberal Democrat vote increased. I am confident support is continuing to grow in this constituency. Liberal Democrats are picking up increased support throughout the South East. Local people have welcomed us leading the fight against the unfair council tax."

The results of recent local elections show that the Liberal Democrats are the challengers to the Conservatives in Reigate. Reigate Liberal Democrats have the largest number of opposition Councillors.
