Will is a former Mayor, local Councillor and life-long resident, he has the experience to serve as Woking Constituency's Member of Parliament.

Will has been a Borough and County Councillor for south Woking for the last decade. Until mid-May 2019, he was Mayor of Woking, during which time Will strongly supported the Borough's voluntary sector and raised tens of thousands of pounds for his Mayor's Charity, the York Road Project. (a local homeless shelter).

Will grew up in Goldsworth Park and Horsell, where he attended local schools including Horsell Church of England Middle School, Woking High School and Woking College. Will lived in Westfield for many years and he now lives by Woking Park with his partner Hannah and their sausage dog Toffee.

The Lib Dems won the last election we had in Woking, the European Parliament elections in May 2019, and localised opinion polls say this December General Election will be really close between the Conservatives and Lib Dems. That's why the Lib Dems are fighting hard to win Woking again in December.

The Lib Dem message of 'Stop Brexit' represents voters in Woking. If there is a Lib Dem Government, we will revoke Article 50, or work with others to cntinue to push for a People's Vote to end the Brexit chaos.

Despite Woking voting Remain in the 2016 Referendum, it is represented by a Brexit supporting Conservative MP.

Will Forster said:

"Woking didn't vote for Brexit and we don't want it now. I want to stop Brexit so we can focus on investing in our NHS and schools, fighting climate change and fixing the issues that affect people everyday. Brexit has dominated the last 3 years, it cannot dominate the next - that's one of the many reasons why the Lib Dems and I want to stop it."

"The plans for Brexit would be disastrous for Woking and for the country - and I intend to do my upmost to stop them. I know so many people, including lifelong Conservatives, who are unhappy with Woking's current MP for backing a Hard Brexit agenda. Local people rightly feel they are not being properly represented on the key issue of our time. As Woking's MP, I would always back residents and represent their views."
