Local Election Results

The Local Elections were a great set of results for the Lib Dems across the country. In Reigate & Banstead our council group leader, Cllr Steve Kulka, comfortably held his seat in Meadvale & St John's. We also continued to make progress against the Tories in Reigate Ward and elsewhere. In Horley, in the south of the borough, Steve Wotton was elected to the Town Council, the first Lib Dem councillor for quite some time! In summary, we have made some progress, but the Tories are still in control in Reigate & Banstead (although with a majority reduced to just 1 seat), so there is more we need to do in the coming months.
